Knitting fault
Knitting fault are:
I.Needle mark: If one or more number of needles are bent or damage, when yarn passing through over the needle, then these type of needle make a line mark in fabric
II. Sinker mark: When damage or old sinker is used is used.
III. Oil mark: Careless oiling or greasing of knitting m/c cause oil mark in fabric. some oil mark or oil sport are remove during process, some are permanent and not remove.
IV. Hole in fabric: If needle break or damage
V. Edge mark: knitted fabric is wounded a take-up roller in knitting m/c with tension. it is necessary free from take up roller after completion a roll. If not free immediately then a permanent mark is seen in both side of fabric that is more visible after dyeing and take position any side and opposition side of fabric. this type of problem is known as edge mark. It is widely seen in compact structure fabric like single jursey
VI. Stripe in fabric: If use mixed lot yarn then we see stripe in fabric. some are visible in grey condition.
VII. More knot in fabric: More speed of m/c or less strength of yarn cause high breakage rate which result is more knot in fabric.
